Castlevania is a side-scrolling action platformer in which players assume the role of Simon Belmont, who possesses the ability to jump and wield his whip directly in front of him. Players can acquire power-ups by defeating foes or by striking candles found throughout the castle. One notable power-up enhances both the strength and reach of Simon's whip. Various weapons can be collected, each consuming hearts upon use; these hearts can also be gathered from defeated monsters and candles. Furthermore, certain walls conceal hidden treasures, such as health-restoring turkey or abilities that allow for Double and Triple shots with the weapons Simon has obtained. At the conclusion of each section within the castle, a formidable boss awaits, which must be defeated to progress. Ultimately, this journey culminates in a climactic encounter with Count Dracula himself.

In this particular game they is continuous music that plays through out the game but the characters whip that acts as his weapon they is a whip LIKE  sound that just like gashing wind or when droplets of water fall on a hot stove when he attacks more than three monsters he gets gifted a extra life and when he gets it a drrr button sound can be heard .Overall the game has nice platform levels as well as blue background that resembles a stone castle  but compared to current games its ok as it is now more of a nostalgic game rather than a good game in this day and time but its fun to play as you encounter different villians.

This game caters to all ages from old to young.

  EXPLANATION OF HOW MY INITIAL IDEAS EVOLVED FROM RESEARCH TO FINALISED CONCEPTS.   My initial idea was inspired by the recent dea th of the rock legend, the prince of darkness Ozzy Osbourne. l wanted to   create a music festival webpage that will be a tribute music festival to Ozzy Osburn music festival to attract rock and metal enthusiasts as well as to attract Ozz y Osborne fans.   However,  after conducting research, I realised  that the majo r ity of the respondents wouldn't atte nd a tribute music festival.  l created a mock-up of what l would like f or it to look like but l soon realised that l wasn't using the feedbac k of my research . l then later came up with a pop music festival that followed the feedback of the primary research which showed that the  majority of the respondents were 18 years old or under which is mainly  students .This led to the concept of a back - t o - school pop music festival that...

WEEK 8 :FINAL MAJOR PROJECT.

z PROGRESS MADE FROM LAST WEEK  Last week I planned on creating another background layer for my PHAROAH VENGENCE which is my first game idea l planned on creating another layer a parallax background with Egyptian pyramids; sky and sun on the background   as well as Egyptian pillars on the background as well so it's not interactive with the characters ended changing my mind cause l had to restart everything which would cause me to be a week behind.   The image below is a mood board of what l wanted the background layer to look like although l didn't make it for the Pharoah's vengeance game idea i do plan on making one for my THE FLOOR IS LAVA game idea with a cave background with l ava seeping on the walls.         l ended up just creating pillars on Piskel to then upload them as tile assets.
