WHAT IS RESEARCH.

Research   This is systematic creation of knowledge and the use of existing knowledge by examining a hypothesis to discover new facts, generate new concepts, verify existing knowledge and data analysis.​ There are different methods of collecting data for research which include the following:​ Primary research. This is research conducted by researchers by gathering  first-hand- data from the source through the following methods:​ INTERVIEWS.​   These are formal conversations between an interviewer and an interviewee where a series of predetermined  and prepared questions are asked in order to gain more depth and understanding about people’s thoughts , experiences  and feelings on certain topics .​ Interviews are conducted to create a more detailed conclusion.​ SURVEYS.​ These are a series of questions  asked from a sample of people to collect or to gather a further understanding of a sample of people as a whole whether it be their opinions , characteristics ...

  EXPLANATION OF HOW MY INITIAL IDEAS EVOLVED FROM RESEARCH TO FINALISED CONCEPTS.   My initial idea was inspired by the recent dea th of the rock legend, the prince of darkness Ozzy Osbourne. l wanted to   create a music festival webpage that will be a tribute music festival to Ozzy Osburn music festival to attract rock and metal enthusiasts as well as to attract Ozz y Osborne fans.   However,  after conducting research, I realised  that the majo r ity of the respondents wouldn't atte nd a tribute music festival.  l created a mock-up of what l would like f or it to look like but l soon realised that l wasn't using the feedbac k of my research . l then later came up with a pop music festival that followed the feedback of the primary research which showed that the  majority of the respondents were 18 years old or under which is mainly  students .This led to the concept of a back - t o - school pop music festival that...
